After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) has resumed with the 2022 Mumbaki Season. Our very own Bataan Risers is also back with a new set of players, most of whom are homegrown talents.
Tonight, August 26, we are facing the Pasig Pirates while come August 30, our players will be pitting talents with Quezon City Capitals in our home court, Orion Sports Complex.
To date, Bataan Risers ranks 3rd in the North Division with 8 wins and 4 losses.
As a show of support to the Province’s players, 2nd District Congressman Albert S. Garcia distributed pairs of shoes to the players and coaching staff composed of the following: Ronnel Jay Lastimosa, Jethro Sombero, Gio Espuelas, Guilmer dela Torre, Reginald Bilugan, Kim Franz Buco, Dante Paguio, James Castro, Kitbonjour Sunguad, Jay-ar David, Arvie Bringas, Jhong Bondoc, Julius Garcia, KristofferTorrado, Marvin Molines, Niño Magno, Jamil Joseph Gabawan and Kim Franz Buco
